Smith & Oby Project Management

We currently have four project managers on staff with over 100 years of experience in the mechanical industry. Our project managers have managed projects that have ranged from twenty thousand dollars to as large as thirty million dollars.

All our project managers are experienced in project scheduling, job cost control, purchasing, change orders and everything else that is required to manage a project effectively.  They utilize AutoBid estimating software for change order requests, which helps produce an estimate quickly, accurately, and detailed enough for all to understand.  Furthermore, our PM’s utilize our centralized software program to manage job cost control, purchase orders, sub contracts, billings, change orders, RFI’s and submittals.

In addition, we have labor coordinators for Pipefitters, Sheet Metal, and Plumbing with over 20 years of experience in the mechanical industry who assist the project managers with field labor requirements, three-week look ahead schedules, quality control, safety, fabrication requirements and sub-contractor responsibilities.
